Gwangju
“Talk, taste, and travel“
November, 2025
On November 22nd, 2025, KBI re-established programming in Gwangju after a long hiatus. The camp was designed around the theme “Talk, Taste, and Travel.” First, students practiced ordering at cafes using role-play dialogues. Then, students researched travel destinations and played a guessing game. Lastly, students learned some American English slang.
Pohang
“Pop-culture Party“
November, 2025
On November 29th, 2025, KBI launched its first-ever branch in Pohang. The one-day camp focused on combining pop-culture concepts, such as MBTI and English slang, with practical review of English grammar and vocabulary through fun role-play games and classroom discussions. Students negotiated for items, created original characters, and played a survival game called Treasure Island.
KBI is an independent community service organization, but works in close collaboration with Fulbright Korea (Korean-American Educational Commission) and the U.S. Embassy in Seoul.
