Students Overwhelmingly Enjoy Our English Camps

In 2025, we taught 18 students in Pohang and 6 students in Gwangju. According to our 2025 feedback surveys, these students found our camps to be very enjoyable. Using a scale of 1 to 6, with 6 being the most enjoyable, 100% of our Pohang students gave our program a rating of 5 or 6. Meanwhile, 83% of our Gwangju students gave our program a rating of 5 or 6.

KBI Helps Students Who Don’t Attend English Hagwons

According to our 2025 student recruitment survey, 79% of students do not regularly attend English hagwons (private after-school academies). Furthermore, 24% mentioned not having adequate opportunities to develop their English skills.

KBI Addresses the Needs of Rural Students

In 2025, 92% of our students attend high schools in rural towns (읍) and townships (면).

KBI Addresses Students’ Motivations

Our students expressed many reasons for wanting to learn English. Out of 21 student responses, 33% mentioned wanting to be able to communicate with foreigners, 24% referenced an interest in travel abroad, 24% cited the need to learn English for a future job, and 14% reported an interest in American culture. In response to this information, we made lessons that were focused on building communication skills through dialogues, practicing travel and work phrases, and exploring American slang and customs.
